Common Questions: Question: If I have an automatic 'x' percent up charge on my end, is it clearly stated at checkout that there is a mark up and the amount? Answer: Depending on how you did your markup. If you used the Restaurant Profile > Financial Tab > Markup Percentage, then no. The items themselves simply display the marked up price with no reference to the non-markedup (base price). If you did the markup through an "Additional Charge" setup, then it will display as its own line item (unless bundled into the del fee) and can be titled whatever you want to title that line item. Often times, you'll find that the best place to list info such as "Items on this menu are listed as the Delivery Price and may vary from instore menu pricing." would be in the Restaurant Profile > Main Tab > Message for the Customer field. |
