Fraud Alerts and Blocked Addresses

In order to navigate to this section from your Admin Backend simply select the SETTINGS tab and then select FRAUD ALERTS

Fraud Alerts are a very useful type of alerts that you can have on your dispatch screen.
There are certain scenarios that trigger these alerts:

  1. (New User) The address on the credit card doesn't match the address on the order.

  2. (New User) The name on the credit card doesn't match the name on the order.

  3. The address on the credit card doesn't match the address on the order.

  4. The customer's account has a credit card that doesn't match their name.

  5. The customer's account has more than 3 credit cards that don't match their name.

  6. The name on the credit card doesn't match the name on the order.

  7. The order address is listed as a blocked address.

  8. The order contains fraud alerts and is a guest checkout.

  9. This is the customer's first order.

  10. This is the first time this credit card has been used.

All of these scenarios can be set to different priority status:

  1. Very High - Red Color

  2. High - Orange Color

  3. Medium - Blue Color

  4. Low - Green Color

The priorities are just going to let you see a quick visual representation of the “Fraud Alert” so you can assess the situation if needed and look over the order that was placed.

You can also toggle these settings on or off whenever you want but keep in mind that this will affect all of your locations on the dispatch screen.

IMPORTANT NOTE - BLOCKING ADDRESSES OPTIONS ARE NESTED INSIDE OF THIS SECTION

This feature will let you block a specific address completely or an individual user at that address level.

The reason why we have this option available is to prevent excluding Workspaces, Apartment building, Hospital, etc…. from ordering from your Delivery Service.

If you Block Addresses on a Per User Basis it will flag that customer only, if another user orders to the same address it will not.
If you select the option to Prevent blocked addresses from being able to submit an order you will completely exclude this user and/or address as a whole from your system which will result in an error on the customer end when they’re trying to complete an order.
