How to Customize the Checkout Page

If you are wondering what settings and options you can
tweak on the Checkout Page of your website
you can easily do so by navigating from your
Admin Backend to SETTINGS > CUSTOMIZE CHECKOUT PAGE

From here you will be able to modify a variety of things like Payment methods available, coupon availability, suggested tips and more so let’s go over these options and explain what they do.

  1. Allow Coupon Codes for Guests? - This feature will let you instantly boost sales for special events or holidays by letting guest checkout to utilize any of the coupon codes you have available and activated for that day. (This is a short term gain strategy because you will not be able to collect customer’s information and have them as a regular user that you would otherwise be able to send discounts and incentives to order again)

  2. Allow Coupon Codes? - You can also completely disable Coupon Codes if you would like.

  3. Allow Purchase Order # Field when Corporate Payment Method is selected?

  4. Auto suggest tip? - This option will suggest a few % based Tip amounts (from 10% to 25%)

  5. Calculate Gratuity Off Of Order Total - This will take the final price of the order including the delivery and other fees before Calculating the Gratuity %

  6. Default Payment Method - A simple option to change your preferred method of payments, by default this is set ot CREDIT but there are also CASH/CORPORATE/ALTERNATE as well

  7. Delivery Fee Display Text - By default under the pricing of the Subtotal you will see
    a DELIVERY FEE text but you can freely change this to anything you would like
    (ex: COURIER FEE, DRIVER FEE, DELIVERY CHARGE, etc…)

  8. Disable cash tips - If you have a lot of instances of your drivers not getting a tip or customers forgetting to tip after they select “I will tip with cash.” option you can simply disable this button which will encourage the customers to tip during the checkout process.

  9. Disable tip option - If you would like to disable the tipping feature altogether you can simply do so by enabling this feature which will DISABLE the tipping section.

  10. Driver Tip Text - This will change a small section in your Checkout Page right above the tip suggestion frame as seen in the photo below.

  11. Enable Green Delivery - Is referred to allowing customers to donate
    an X amount of $ to Green Delivery Initiatives that you decide to sponsor.

  12. Enable Group Code? - If you have special group codes you can enable customers to use them on checkout here.

  13. Green Delivery Fee - This will determine what the X amount of $ you want your customers to be able to donate to Green Delivery Initiatives mentioned under #11 above.

  14. No Contact Delivery? - If you enable this your checkout page will have a new option that will let customers select options below

  15. Non-Cash Transaction Fee Applies to Tips? - If you choose to have Non-Cash Transaction Fees enabling this will apply to tips, if not the driver tips will be calculated separately.

  16. Non-Cash Transaction Fee is taxed? - Non-Cash Transaction Fees are taxed by default but you can choose not tax them by disabling this.

  17. Non-Cash Transaction Fee Text - By default this is named “Non-Cash Transaction Fee” in the checkout page but you can change it to (ex: ADDITIONAL FEES)

  18. Round Up for Charity Name - This will only be presented to the customer at checkout if the charity name is not blank and you have signed the agreement.

  19. Round Up for Charity Program Description - If you do decide to have a Charity Program active you can describe what it is here and it will show under the Donate To Charity field.

  20. Show "Green Order"? - If this is enabled customers will be able to request a “No Cutlery” delivery for their order.

  21. Show Quick-tip? - The quick tip feature will showcase the percentages for the tip $ amount

     

  22. Suggested Tip List - Here you can structure the feature above so if you want 10% to be available you will inject it like this “ 10|next number “ so if we reference the picture above it would look like this by default 10|12|15|18|20|25 so the numbers represent the % respectively.

  23. Suggested Tips are Percentages? - By defauly the Suggested Tip amount is always a % of the order total, if you would like it to be fixed amount you can do so by enabling this feature and select values that will display in your currency the same way that % are presented.
