Food preparation time can fluctuate quickly depending on the time of the year, holidays, time of the day and many other things.
But something that will largely, and almost always affect food preparation time for Restaurants is the actual amount of food they need to prepare.
This is why we have $ amount based prep time setting under restaurant profiles.

If you would like to enable this feature and utilize it for specific restaurants that you know can take a while to prepare orders when they’re bigger than usual, follow the step by step guide below.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS FEATURE IS AFFECTING THE FOOD SUBTOTAL AND NOT THE TOTAL ORDER AMOUNT!
So if you put $100 in the first field, the prep time will only change if the Food Subtotal exceeds that amount!
