DriverLogic App Location Tracking and FAQ
If some of your drivers are having issues with their location not being tracked properly, 99% of the time their Location settings are not properly set.
Enabling Location Settings on iOS:
Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
Scroll down and tap on the DriverLogic app.
Tap on "Location" under "Allow DriverLogic to Access".
Select "ALWAYS" to allow the app to access your device's location at all times.
Close the Settings app and launch the DriverLogic app to start using it with location services enabled.
Note: Allowing location access "Always" can help improve the accuracy and reliability of location-based features in the DriverLogic app.
Enabling Location Settings on Android:
Open the Settings app on your Android device.
Tap on "Apps & notifications".
Find and tap on the DriverLogic app from the list of apps.
Tap on "Permissions".
Tap on "Location" and select "Allow all the time" to enable location services for the app.
Close the Settings app and launch the DriverLogic app to start using it with location services enabled.
Note: Allowing location access "Allow all the time" can help improve the accuracy and reliability of location-based features in the DriverLogic app.
IMPORTANT - If your drivers are settings their Location settings to “Only allow when using the app” the location CAN NOT be updated while they’re using their navigation apps like Google Maps, Waze and other. This is why we STRONGLY recommend that you explain this to your drivers in order to make the dispatching of orders more accurate and AutoDispatch feature more useful.
