What is OLO Dispatch?
OLO Dispatch enables the delivery of orders directly sourced from restaurant online ordering channels such as their website or app. Their online ordering system gathers quotes from various Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) in the vicinity and offers delivery as an option if there are available providers. The selection of a DSP is based on several criteria combined with the restaurant’s preferences. The primary factors include:
Cost for the delivery
Pickup/Drop off Time Estimates
Additionally, restaurants can set a preferred provider. This means if their preferred DSP is available, it will be prioritized over other providers, regardless of other criteria.
The Benefits for You and Your Drivers:
Driver Engagement: It's a great way to keep driver moving and making money.
Revenue Generation: While the profit margins might be narrow compared to other orders ($1-3 per order on average), remember that these orders are being generated by restaurants directly for you.
Expansion Strategy: If you're looking to expand your business's reach, OLO Dispatch can be a part of this strategy. However, ensure you already have partner restaurants and orders in the market as OLO Dispatch is not allowed to be the primary foundation for new market expansion without any market structure already in place.

Future Updates from DeliverLogic's Side:
Dynamic Quoting: We are working on an update that will adjust your quote times and delivery costs based on your market's order to driver ratio (ODR). This is intended to optimize driver workload during slow periods and ensure fair compensation for your business and them during peak times.
Driver Pay Enhancement: We understand that OLO Dispatch orders are quite a bit different from standard RDS orders. We're introducing some additional payment calculation features in the future to ensure everyone benefits from these orders and others that may be a bit different or expiremental.
Current Payment Structure: At this time, the entire quote/fee (not including tips) gets divided between you and the driver as per the "Courier Delivery Fee Percent" specified in the driver profile. If you set it to, say, 75%, then the driver keeps 75% of the fee while you retain the remaining 25%. Typically, we are seeing that most orders do include tips.
Make SURE you set drivers “Courer Delivery Fee Percent” prior to starting these order or pay will not be calculated properly.
Recommendation: Based on industry trends, we advise setting the "Courier Delivery Fee Percent" between 70-85%.
Remember, OLO Dispatch integration is an avenue to generate additional revenue and provide more opportunities for your drivers.
