The overarching goal here is to make takeout orders very simple to take so that we can best support our many new direct restaurant partners and take their orders efficiently.

For Smart Support Phone Map

 

Add the associated address to the phone number mapping tool > this will be used in the first flow change below

Add the associated notes field to the phone number mapping tool > this should display in the Green Caller ID box below the “business name”

 

Add an RID field to the phone number mapping tool > this will be used in the second flow change below

For a new user:

First order flow change:

On the address page, we need to add a selector for takeout or delivery, they must select one of the two and it will not be pre-selected

 

If it’s takeout and the pre-set address works > move forward to the next page (which should be the restaurant page)

If it’s delivery > show the address form

If it’s takeout and there is not pre-set address > show the address form

If it’s takeout and the address isn’t mapped > show the address form

Secondly

For takeout:

When transitioning to the “restaurant selection page” for takeout: We would select the RID associated in the phone map automatically and show them the menu for ordering.

For delivery:

When transitioning to the “restaurant selection page” for delivery: We would select the RID associated in the phone map automatically and show them the men for ordering.
