DNS Changes Related to Server Migration to AWS

At DeliverLogic, we are always striving to provide better and more reliable services. As part of our continuous improvement efforts, we are transitioning our server infrastructure from INAP to AWS. This migration will ensure enhanced performance and reliability for your businesses.

 

This will affect you IF:

  1. If you have pointed your domain to us via A Record.

    1. You will need to update the A Record the night moving into the actual server migration. We will announce these dates in the coming days. Read onwards to the “Instructions to Update Your A Record” to find the correct IP address.

  2. If you have standalone sites for ANY of your restaurant partners.

    1. ALL standalone sites are pointed to us via A Records. You will need to update the A Record the night moving into the actual server migration. We will announce these dates in the coming days. Read onwards to the “Instructions to Update Your A Record” to find the correct IP address.

Instructions to Update Your A Record:

For GoDaddy Users:

  1. Login to Your Account:

  2. Navigate to Your Domains:

    • Once logged in, click on your name (or the person icon) in the upper right-hand corner.

    • From the dropdown menu, choose "My Products."

  3. Choose Your Domain:

    • Under the "Domains" section, find the domain you've pointed to DeliverLogic and click on "DNS" next to it.

  4. Update the A Record:

    • In the "Records" section, find the A Record that points to the old DeliverLogic IP address.

    • Click on the pencil/edit icon next to it.

    • Enter the new IP address:

      • If you were on the TX Server: 35.174.110.134

      • If you were on the NJ Server: 52.5.35.39

    • Click "Save."

  5. Confirmation:

    • Your changes are now saved. It may take a while for these changes to propagate.

For Google Domains Users:

  1. Login to Your Account:

  2. Select Your Domain:

    • In the dashboard, find the domain you've pointed to DeliverLogic and click on it.

  3. Navigate to DNS Settings:

    • On the left-hand menu, click on "DNS."

  4. Update the A Record:

    • Scroll down to the "Custom resource records" section.

    • Find the A Record that points to the old DeliverLogic IP address and click on the pencil/edit icon next to it.

    • Enter the new IP address:

      • If you were on the TX Server: 35.174.110.134

      • If you were on the NJ Server: 52.5.35.39

    • Click on the checkmark to save changes.

  5. Confirmation:

    • Your changes are now saved. It may take a while for these changes to propagate.

 

 

Failure to Take Action

Failure to take this action will make the URL in question no longer function properly, so please do take the action on the announced dates.
