Proper Format for Marking Double Orders Enroute

We have seen a lot of confusion with Bundler feature assigning multiple orders to drivers that can make an efficient pickup and drop off for 2 or more orders.

The PROPER way of handling this on the Driver side should be:

  1. Driver receives 2 or more orders at the same time

  2. Driver accepts all orders received as a bundle

  3. Driver arrives on order 1 then order 2 then order 3 etc…

  4. Driver marks ENROUTE ONLY on order that’s closest FIRST

  5. Once Driver marks that first order delivered ONLY THEN mark next order ENROUTE

  6. Repeat the process until all orders are delivered

Some people might be confused BUT this is a very important detail that will leave your customers satisfied and the system will give them proper estimated times for delivery. This is important to note to all of your drivers because the SMS system will let the customer know when the driver marks their order ENROUTE and information from Google Maps that will calculate an estimated arrival time.

So in order to avoid annoyed customers and also drivers please consider double checking and making sure your drivers understand how this part of the process affect deliveries and communication to the customer.

Video below will summarize everything visually so you can see both ends of the story.
