Locational Delivery Surge Fee

If one of your locations has very high demand and gets extremely busy you can utilize Delivery Surge Fees during these very busy times.
You will find this section if you go to LOCATIONS in your admin backend
and then navigate to DELIVERY FEES TAB where you will see this setup.

The SURGE FEE field is going to be located at the bottom of this page where you can set an amount that will be stacked with each mile as it’s calculating the drive from the RESTAURANT to the CUSTOMER as seen in the picture below.
(You can use the checkbox that says “Update the fee on the checkout page with predictive drive time” in which case we'll use the date and time of the order as well as the calculated driver pick up time to get a more accurate drive time.)

After you select the value that you want make sure you select UDPATE ALL RESTAURANTS in order to reflect the change, you can also SET AS DEFAULT FOR RESTAURANTS so any new restaurant profile that you make will have these settings for zoning and fees.

** KEEP IN MIND THIS FEATURE IS DIFFERENT FROM Driver Surge Pay WHICH GOES TO THE DRIVER, THIS FEATURE WILL CHARGE CUSTOMERS A PREMIUM THAT WILL GO TO YOUR DELIVERY SERVICE AND NOT DIRECTLY TO DRIVERS!
