Dispatcher Columns Explained

Dispatcher Columns are indicators that you see on your dispatch screen about your drivers status, order details, customers info and much more.
In this article we will go over all the options that you can change and what these indicators mean when they show up on your dispatch screen.

As you can see on the picture above the default Dispatcher Columns are setup in the right side columns labeled “SELECTED” while you can add or remove columns simply by dragging them over with the left side columns labeled “AVAILABLE”.

In order to get a quick description of what each Indicator represents you can select
”VIEW KEY” next to Dispatcher Columns title as a reminder but we will explain each of them below.
We will keep the default setup and explain the indicators in that order.

AVAILABLE

  • Due Date (Value that customer chooses upon checkout)

  • Due Time (Only Time) (Static time until the order should be delivered/picked up at)

  • RC (A simpler version of the SRC indicator, we do not recommend utilizing RC unless you have a specific need to)

  • Zone (If you made multiple zones in your locations you can see which zone it’s in with this indicator)

  • Driver Assigned (Indicator if an order has any driver assigned to it)

  • Fee ($ amount of the Delivery Fee charge)

  • Company (Company field in customer’s user profile)

  • Status Changed (Date and time of the last status change)

  • Cross Street (Nearest intersection to the customer’s address)

  • Address Type (Indicator that shows you which type of establishment the customer is located in: Residential, Hotel, Hospital, Business, Apartment)

  • LSC (Timer in minutes since the last status on an order has been changed)

  • Place (If you utilized the feature seen below in your admin backend, you can easily see it on your dispatch screen with this indicator)

  • Subplace (If you made granular separation of a Hotel, Hospital or a Workplace for example a room number, hospital department, etc…)

  • Courier Pickup ETA (Estimated Quote of time until a Third Party Driver can arrive at the pickup location)

  • Courier Dropoff ETA (Estimated Quote of time until a Third Party Driver can deliver the food to the customer)

  • Courier Fee Estimate (Quoted $ amount estimate for processing orders through Third Party Drivers)

  • PickIn (Countdown until the PICKUP time)

  • Rest Short (If you have a lot of restaurants with long names this will help keep your dispatch screen more compact by limiting how much space the Restaurant names can take)

  • Driver Short (As mentioned in the Rest Short column it will also limit the amount of space driver names will take up on the dispatch screen)

Selected

  • # - V (# stands for the order number while V will show you which version of that order is currently on the dispatch screen.

  • Age (Amount of minutes since the order has been processed from checkout and up on the dispatch board)

  • DueIn (A relative time before the order should be delivered/picked up)

  • AD P (Amount of minutes until AutoDispatch sends the order to the restaurant’s OrderLogic app, Printer and/or E-Mail)

  • Status (In which state is the order currently meaning NEW, CONFIRMED, PLACING, PLACED, ARRIVED, READY or ENROUTE)
    Orders can have their status changed at any point until the order is marked DELIVERED by the driver

  • SRC (This indicator has 3 columns

    • First column will show you the order status related to the restaurant (If the order has been sent to their OrderLogic app or not, if they accepted and received the order, if the driver is placing in person, etc)

    • Middle column will give you POS integration status if you are sending your orders through the restaurant’s POS system.

    • Finally the far right column will give you information of order payment/processing for the restaurant meaning ACH, Pay Online or Pay on Pickup with Driver SmartPay.

  • Order Tags (Special notes that get triggered as dispatchers handle orders and change statuses)

  • Cust. Tags (If a customer has notes under their user profile they will show up here)

  • DC (This indicator will show the status of the order being sent to the driver meaning ORDER NOT SENT, ORDER SENT and ORDER ACCEPTED BY DRIVER)

  • Driver (Name of the driver assigned currently to the order)

  • ER (Estimated amount of time before the food is ready for pickup from the restaurant)

  • Pickup (Time when the order was scheduled for pickup by the driver/customer)

  • EDA (Estimated Driver Arrival to the point of pickup)

  • Restaurant(s) (Name of the restaurant that the food is getting picked up/delivered from)

  • Total ($ amount total of the order)

  • Due Time (The time at which the order is due)

  • Source (Where does the order originate from for example CALL IN, WEB, APP, GOF, etc…)

  • Customer (Customer’s full name)

  • Address (Delivery address of the customer)

  • Type (Indicators if the order is DELIVERY or TAKEOUT)

  • Payment (Which form of payment the customer chose at checkout. CASH, CREDIT, CORPORATE)

  • Order Placed (Indicator if it’s confirmed that the order has been placed with the restaurant)

  • Dispatcher (Which dispatcher user handled and/or changed the last status of the order)

  • CSR

  • Location (If you have multiple locations across your market you can narrow it down with this indicator or lock into a specific location on the left hand side of your dispatch screen)
