Handling Orders Stuck in PENDING Status On Dispatch Board

If you have orders on your dispatch screen that are in PENDING status for a long time, it usually means that a customer tried to place an order but they didn’t have enough funds in their account to complete and place the order.

The options for things to do with pending orders are:

  1. Leave them alone and never use the Dispatch Board Filter to “show pending”

  2. Filter to show pending > if you see a LIVE pending order which sits for more than 10 minutes or so in the pending status, then you can call the customer to ask if they are having issues placing their order. The reason that their order would normally be pending though, is because they didn’t have enough funds or their card was expired or “blocked by bank” for whatever reason.

NEVER click a pending order and move it to another status manually!!!
