The Google Analytics code is best placed before the closing </head>.

1. To accomplish this, we usually put the code snippet into the HTML_HEAD page of the Site Editor (click "source" and paste in the code). 

2. The HTML_HEAD is included on every page through out your site so you are properly tracking everything through GA.
