The Google Review Booster is a fantastic feature to boost your restaurant partners' online reputation and attract new customers. Positive ratings on Google have a significant impact on customers' decisions when choosing where to eat. By incentivizing customers to leave reviews, you not only benefit the restaurants but also enhance the overall customer experience with the restaurant as well as your own Delivery Service.

The Google Review Booster is a powerful tool that allows you to promote and encourage your customers to leave positive reviews for your restaurant partners on their Google Business listings. By leveraging our internal rating system, we can send follow-up messages to customers who leave four or five-star reviews, offering them a discount code as an incentive to leave a review on their Google Business Listing.

Enabling Order Ratings

To get started with the Google Review Booster, you need to ensure that the order ratings feature is enabled. Here's how you can do it:

Log in to the admin backend of our system.
Navigate to "Settings" and select the "Order Ratings" tab.
Scroll down to the "Which ratings do you want to allow for delivered orders?" section.
Make sure the "Restaurant rating" option is enabled. This will enable customers to receive follow-up messages to leave reviews on Google.
Also make sure that the field “After the order is marked delivered” Enable Order Delivered Ratings? is enabled.

Setting Up Google Reviews for a Restaurant

To enable Google reviews for a specific restaurant, follow these steps:

Go to the "Restaurants" section in the admin backend.
Select the restaurant for which you want to enable Google reviews.
Under the "Marketing" tab, you'll find a simple setup section.
The "Restaurant Google Review Link" field will automatically populate with the Google Business listing information based on the restaurant's name and address ONCE you activate the checkbox on the left.
Choose a coupon code to offer customers as an incentive for leaving a review.
Click "Activate Google Reviews" to enable the feature.
Save the settings, and the restaurant's Google review link will be ready for use.

To create coupon codes for your Google Review Booster, follow these steps:

In the admin backend, click on "Coupon Codes" in the left-hand menu.
Name your coupon code, e.g., "GoogleFiveOff."
Set the desired discount amount, expiration date, and any other customization options.
In order to be able to select this coupon for Google Booster Reviews, enable the "Restaurant Google Review Code" field.
Save the coupon code.

Once the setup is complete, this is how the Google Review Booster will work for your customers:

After customers receive their order, they will receive a text message asking them to leave a review.
The message will request feedback on their order and THEN encourage them to leave a review on the restaurant's Google Business listing in order to redeem the coupon code you created.
Once customers leave a review, they will receive a text message with a coupon code that they can use for future orders.
