Guide to Creating AI-Powered Marketing Campaigns

Guide to Creating AI-Powered Marketing Campaigns

  1. Navigate to the Marketing Section

    • Go to the marketing section in your platform's dashboard.

    • Choose between SMS Marketing or Push Notification Marketing.

      • Tip: Use both for maximum customer engagement and order generation.

  2. Select Campaign Type

    • For this guide, we'll focus on SMS Marketing (the process is similar for push notifications).

    • Name your campaign (e.g., "Test").

  3. Access the AI Feature

    • Locate and click the "Create with AI" button.

  4. Choose an AI Model

    • Select between:

      • ChatGPT: More creative and flexible in its approach.

      • Claude: More formal and structured (better for professional audiences).

    • Choose based on your audience and marketing familiarity.

      • Example: Use ChatGPT if you're new to marketing for a creative boost.

  5. Define the Campaign Goal

    • Select one of four goals:

      • Promotional Offer: E.g., free delivery or a new deal with a restaurant.

      • Announcement: E.g., introducing a new restaurant partner.

      • Event Reminder: E.g., reminding customers of a weekly free delivery day.

      • Re-engagement: Target customers who haven’t ordered recently.

    • Example: Choose "Promotional Offer" for a free delivery deal.

  6. Specify the Target Audience

    • Options include:

      • All Customers

      • New Customers

      • Inactive Customers

      • VIP Customers

    • Example: Select "All Customers" for broad reach.

  7. Set Campaign Details

    • Write a clear instruction for the AI.

      • Example: "Promote a free delivery offer for all delivery orders over $40 on Wednesday."

    • Choose a tone:

      • Professional, Casual, Urgent, or Friendly.

      • Tip: Casual or Friendly tones work well for promotional campaigns to avoid seeming too formal or pushy.

    • Set a character limit:

      • 160 characters for a single text (very short).

      • 306 characters for two texts per customer (recommended starting point).

  8. Incorporate Dynamic Parameters (Optional)

    • Add personalized fields like First Name, Last Name, or Email to tailor the message.

      • Example: "Structure a message using First Name and offer free delivery on orders over $40."

    • The AI will inject these fields (e.g., "Hey [First Name], great news! Enjoy free delivery...").

  9. Generate the Message

    • Click Generate Text to create the campaign message.

    • Review the output. Example:

      • "Hey there, enjoy free delivery on all orders over $40 this Wednesday! Treat yourself to your favorites without the extra charge. Order now! Reply STOP to opt out."

    • Note: The generated text is for preview only; it won’t send until you confirm.

  10. Refine and Test

    • Adjust the message, tone, or character limit if needed.

    • Use Contact Search Criteria to target specific customers.

      • Example: Target users who ordered via the app for higher re-engagement rates.

    • Send a test message to yourself to ensure it looks correct.

  11. Launch the Campaign

    • Once satisfied, proceed to send the campaign to your selected audience.

    • Monitor performance and gather feedback to optimize future campaigns.

  12. Apply to Push Notifications

    • Repeat the same steps for Push Notification Marketing if desired.

  13. Seek Support

    • If you have questions or need help, contact the platform’s support team.

Tips for Success

  • Experiment with different models, tones, and goals to find what resonates with your market.

  • Use the AI feature if you’re new to marketing to boost order volume.

  • Analyze customer behavior (e.g., app vs. web orders) to refine targeting.

This guide will help you leverage AI to create effective SMS and push notification campaigns, driving customer engagement and orders.
